5. Consent and email messages
Where consent is required, we aim to explain in clear language what information is being collected, why it is needed and how it will be used. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits. Promotional emails will identify Globio Hub Institute or GlobioHub, provide contact information and include an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not stop necessary messages about an active inquiry, order, registration or safety matter.
6. When we may share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, email, analytics, payments, ticketing, surveys, publishing or security. 7. Service providers outside Canada
Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada. Information in another country may be subject to the laws of that country. We select providers based on the needs of the service and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose, business records and legal obligations. Different records have different retention periods. We may delete or anonymize old inquiry, application and website data when it is no longer required.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee complete security. If a privacy incident creates a real risk of significant harm, we will respond and provide notices or reports as required by law.
10. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to personal information we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw consent or ask a question about our privacy practices.
