This Privacy Policy explains how Globio Hub Institute (“GlobioHub,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit globiohub.com, contact us, join a mailing list, register for an event, apply for a future community activity or otherwise interact with us.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Event or community information, such as professional background, interests, dietary needs, accessibility requests, registration status and attendance.

Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada. Information in another country may be subject to the laws of that country. We select providers based on the needs of the service and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information.

We keep personal information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose, business records and legal obligations. Different records have different retention periods. We may delete or anonymize old inquiry, application and website data when it is no longer required.

The website is intended for a general adult and professional audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us.

We may update this policy when our website, services, tools or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will show the latest published version.

Payments for shop orders are completed through Shopify’s hosted checkout. Shopify and its payment providers process payment information. Globio Hub Institute does not directly collect or store full payment-card details on globiohub.com. We receive order information needed to confirm, fulfill, support, refund and keep required business records.
