A Student of the University of Life follows Onur Guler's journey from Izmir to Canada and through education, entrepreneurship, school ownership, loss and rebuilding.
It is mainly a personal memoir, but education, entrepreneurship and business are important parts of the story.

A life can be a classroom.
The unfinished pages taught me that memory gives us scenes, but writing asks what those scenes mean. Some lessons arrived years later. Some questions remain open.
I am not writing as a graduate of the University of Life. I am still a student. I am simply taking better notes now.
